The Chow Chow originates from China where it was bred for guarding and hunting, also unbelievably the Chinese used to eat them as well! This unusual and unique breed has a blue tongue and is quite lion-like in appearance. The rough double coat is extremely dense and needs daily grooming. Shan was giving the Scruffy To Fluffy high velocity blaster treatment to blow out old dead loose coat, prior to his baking soda & oatmeal shampoo hydrobath.
