The Newfy is a high maintenance breed, the double coat is extremely dense, water resistant and oily which needs regular grooming. I use a high velocity blaster to blow out loose coat, tangles & dirt prior to bathing and again after bathing. Grooming a Newfy takes a lot of time and hard work to do properly.
